Brittain Painting Contractors, professional painters, were contracted to paint part of our house in 2018. It was a significant undertaking due to the house being a large older style house. The requirement was to paint a side of the house that is 3 storeys high and requiring significant scaffolding.

Painter, Steve Brittain was engaged to paint one side of our house in 2018. This was a significant undertaking because it is a large house, and the side involved is 3 storeys high and only accessible by major scaffolding. Steve was undaunted by this, once the scaffolding had been erected, the work proceeded without interruption. What was particularly pleasing was the fact that he finished our painting job before moving on to his next job. In my experience it is not unusual for a painter & decorator to disappear for a week to tidy up something elsewhere, leaving small parts of the job unfinished. There were no such problems with Steve.
The quality of Steve’s work was very good and his painting was of a very high standard. There were numerous sets of casement windows to paint that probably hadn’t been painted for 20 years, but that didn’t pose any problems.
We are very happy with the work Steve has done for us, and we hope to use his services again. Steve’s quote for the work was competitive and there were no surprises when the final invoice was provided.
